Job Description
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives on leading the way on solving difficult engineering problems? Are you drawn to complex projects and excited by the opportunity to rapidly progress your technical leadership skills to the next level, heading up multi-disciplinary projects?
If so, you might enjoy solving the energy industry’s most important mechanical engineering conundrums for a multitude of energy systems across a variety of clients. You could be managing exciting projects designing test rigs to support the development of the UK’s nuclear fusion capabilities, carrying out structural integrity assessments of primary plant for civil and defence applications, designing high integrity structures for new nuclear establishments, or leading renewable energy projects within a growing carbon net zero portfolio. You’re likely to be juggling several projects simultaneously, so being adaptable is essential! The constant in this role is the complex nature of the jobs and the chance to provide innovative solutions to a range of problems for several clients.
Whichever energy-related projects you get involved in, you’ll be engaged in developing engineering solutions to industry’s most challenging problems, making a significant contribution to the energy and environmental security of the UK and beyond.
If you are a self-starter capable of delivering multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions, then we’d love you to apply.
