to join our vibrant Wiltshire service for a 12-month maternity cover. At our integrated community drug and alcohol service, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting individuals across Wiltshire. Under the guidance of our
Clinical Services Manager

Clinical Lead
, you’ll collaborate with a passionate team to enhance the wellbeing of those we serve. As a community-based prescriber, you’ll empower individuals to transform their lives while receiving the support you need to thrive in your role. Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will: Conduct opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions and manage benzodiazepine reductions. Administer detoxification medications and provide support for health care assessments. Complete alcohol and opiate detoxification assessments, including Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations. Collaborate closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services. Participate in local prescriber meetings and receive one-on-one clinical supervision to enhance your professional development. Help shape service delivery and contribute to providing clinically excellent services. You'll have access to resources like

for revalidation, indemnity insurance, and ongoing support from our leadership team.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
If you are: A registered professional with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist, and an independent prescriber. Confident in managing opiate prescriptions and alcohol detoxifications. An excellent communicator who is highly organized and creative in developing tailored support packages. Passionate about helping individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and understanding. We want to hear from you! Join our established team in Wiltshire and help us make a difference.
