Scope of the Role:
As a Warehouse Shift Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our global warehouse logistics during your assigned shift. You will lead, coach, and inspire a team of employees, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company policies and procedures. Your role is vital in maintaining a smooth workflow, meeting customer demands, and optimizing Mulberry’s logistics operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics activities during your shift.
2. Lead a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
3. Assign tasks and responsibilities, providing clear instructions and guidance.
4. Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure stock availability for order fulfillment.
5. Collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service departments for seamless coordination.
6. Develop and implement processes to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
7. Monitor KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
8. Resolve operational issues or conflicts, escalating when necessary.
9. Train, develop, and mentor team members, providing ongoing coaching.
10. Manage team fairly, ensuring adherence to HR policies, including appraisals, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
11. Partner with recruitment and warehouse management to attract and retain a diverse team.
12. Manage workforce attendance, holidays, staff scheduling, and shift management via Dayforce.
13. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

* Hold daily team meetings and provide support, training, and mentoring.
* Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings for development and succession planning.
* Contribute insights in senior team meetings.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
* Experience in logistics management or related fields.
* Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency with logistics management software (preferably Manhattan).
* Understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
Other:
* Flexibility to travel as required.
* Key holder for the MEDC.
