Building upon our strong foundation, where a thoughtful and well-structured curriculum is already in place, you will get to know your students personally, adapting and tailoring the curriculum to ensure each one makes meaningful progress. As part of the Oasis Multi-Academy Trust, you will also have opportunities to collaborate with other departments and take part in National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to further advance your career.
Responsibilities
The role involves contributing to the ongoing success of the SEND department, personalising instruction to support meaningful learner progress, collaborating with colleagues across the Oasis Multi-Academy Trust, and engaging in professional development opportunities including NPQs. You will be part of a team that prioritises student wellbeing, safeguarding, and high expectations for outcomes for all learners.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Experience in education with a focus on SEND is desirable. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. • Ambition and dedication to professional development and collaborative practice. • Willingness to engage with NPQs and broader professional learning opportunities. • Ability to work within a supportive team and contribute to school improvements.
