We deliver high-quality, personalised EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) tuition packages designed to re-engage and inspire learners with complex needs. We are currently looking for a qualified teacher (QTS essential) who is passionate about transforming the educational experience of vulnerable students. This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis, delivering bespoke sessions that promote academic achievement, emotional well-being, and long-term learning success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions – typically in English and/or Maths up to GCSE level, or Primary curriculum subjects Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs, including SEND and SEMH Teach in varied settings across West Cumbria – including learners’ homes, libraries, or other agreed safe and suitable locations Create, plan, and adapt resources to suit individual EHCPs and learning goals Monitor, record, and report on student progress, attendance, and engagement Maintain professional communication with the TP Tutors team and wider support network Uphold high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct at all times What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively Experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH, or in alternative provision settings A trauma-informed, student-centred approach to teaching and learning Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through TP Tutors) Two professional references covering the past 24 months What We Offer: Flexible working hours – plan your tuition around your availability Weekly PAYE pay – no hidden fees or umbrella companies Ongoing support from a dedicated tuition consultant Access to CPD and training, including safeguarding and pupil progress tracking ‘Refer a Friend’ bonus scheme All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
