The Role
We’re looking for a driven and organised Sales & Events Coordinator to join Sage Solutions, supporting the growth and delivery of our events across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
This is a client-facing role where you’ll combine strong sales skills with hands-on event coordination, ensuring that every project is delivered to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to drive sales, generate new opportunities, and ensure smooth execution on the day.
This role is ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by hitting targets while building strong client relationships. No two days will be the same—you’ll balance sales outreach, client meetings, and on-site campaign support across the region.
What you’ll be doing
* Driving sales of Sage Solutions’ event services through face to face campaigns, outreach, networking, and relationship management.
* Managing event enquiries from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
* Liaising with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
* Coordinating logistics, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly.
* Representing Sage Solutions at events across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
* Preparing proposals, contracts, and event documentation.
* Supporting marketing activity to promote upcoming events and generate leads.
* Building long-term relationships with new and existing clients to grow revenue.
What you’ll bring
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or event coordination.
* Proven track record of hitting sales targets and building client relationships.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills.
* Strong communication skills with confidence in both written and face-to-face interactions.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Flexibility to travel across Birmingham and the West Midlands (car not required, allowances provided if driving).
