We are working with a well-established organisation in Sheffield seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy HR function and gain exposure to a variety of HR processes.
KEY VACANCY INFORMATION
- This position is temporary for 3-6 months and will start in late November/ early December.
- The successful applicant will be available for an immediate start and not on long notice.
- Full time in Sheffield, the successful applicant will live locally to the area.
- 37 Hours 9am - 5pm
- Salary guide £29,000 paid on a temporary hourly rate £ + holiday pay accrual
Your new role
As HR Assistant, you will provideprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including:
1. Managing employee records and updating HR systems
2. Assisting with recruitment administration and onboarding
3. Supporting payroll and absence reporting
4. Handling general HR queries and providing first-line advice
5. Ensuringpliance with policies and procedures

6. Previous experience in an HR support role
7. Strong organisational and administrative skills
8. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
10. A proactive and professional approach
