We are currently recruiting... Senior social workers with empathy and the drive to make a difference, finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home.
This is a permanent, Senior social Worker role to work across Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Older Adults and Physical Disability Community Teams.

This is an exciting time as we launch Living Better Lives in Lancashire - our new strength-based vision for social care. We are driving forward innovative practice to make a difference to our communities and need senior social workers to help us achieve the vision of supporting people to live independently in a place they call their home.
As part of your role, you will undertake strength-based, outcome-focused assessments and support planning, ensuring residents of Lancashire receive the right amount of support. You will help people access local services, maintain independence, promote health and wellbeing, and live independently. A key part of the role includes working alongside other agencies, professionals and informal carers to provide a holistic service. You will work with supportive managers and have access to training and progression opportunities.

* Collaborate within Adult Services Older Adults and Physical Disability Community Teams across Lancashire.
Qualifications
* Senior Social Worker applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed or have applied to register with SWE.
* Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013) applies; if successful, you will apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure.
* You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with duties and must be insured for business use; we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
