* Hours per week:20 – Monday and Tuesday full days, Wednesday mornings
Norse Group is a leading facilities management services provider, built on joint ventures with Local Government partners. We have an exciting opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Norwich. This is a part-time fixed-term contract until December 2025, with the possibility of a permanent part-time position thereafter.
The Role:
The Works Coordinator will provide administrative, planning, and support services, including:
* Responding to work requests related to Action For Children, allocating tasks to internal maintenance teams, external contractors, or other Norse teams promptly.
* Raising purchase orders for external contractors, receipting completed works, and approving invoices.
* Monitoring work requests to ensure satisfactory completion and maintaining accurate system information.
* Managing the full lifecycle of works orders for reactive and PPM tasks for internal and external contractors, ensuring work is allocated, executed, and closed within agreed timelines.
* Supporting financial processes for client invoicing.
* Assisting in contractor management.
* Tracking client projects and providing timely updates.
* Supporting the Facilities Manager in prioritising work across the Action For Children portfolio.
Candidate Profile:
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as daily tasks include handling calls, queries, and emails from clients, providers, and suppliers.
Requirements include:
* Experience in work coordination within a busy office environment.
* Customer-facing experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills.
