Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Works Manager. Location: Site based, on the Etton to Bexwell section (Infra project) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Works Manager to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Works Manager ? As one of our SPA Works Managers, you’ll deliver multi-discipled work aligned with SPA strategies in logistics, production, design, assembly, SHEQ, reporting and digital creation. Operating with the customer at heart, you’ll understand the Client and Alliance Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and Statutory Requirements as they affect operations and ensure that the obligations, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project. Key responsibilities: Ensure the coordination of a section of works on a larger project or entire medium sized project or several smaller projects. To ensure and communication between all parts of the operation team including suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, safety and environmental team and client’s team. Provide, monitor, and control labour plant and materials to meet the programme. Ensure high standard of quality on the works to meet the specification requirements ‘first time’ and minimise rework Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements; identify training requirements, review the performance of the workforce, and ensure delivery of briefings. Manage sub-contractors and direct workforce. Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors’ attendance, and records of work-related discussions with client / designer / RE / project team Ensure all records for example inspections, works permits and briefings are up to date and in place Ensure accurate, legible, and up-to-date allocation sheets are recorded and provided at shift close with delivery tickets and plant returns to the engineering and commercial teams.
