A reputable organisation in Hessle is recruiting an Accountant to join their finance team. Due to a new systems upgrade, they are in need of some extra support and the role will be for an initial 6-month fixed term contract with the potential for it to be extended or made permanent.
Salary circa £45,000 (annual equivalent) with 25 days holiday (plus bank holiday) entitlement as well as other benefits.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with payroll, month-end reporting, ERP system implementation and also be available to start at short notice.
Roles and responsibilities include:
1. Core accounting and transaction processes (including ledgers and invoices)
2. Payroll support
3. Credit control
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Cross department financial support
6. Credit card and cash management
7. System migration preparation
