Fraser Edwards are currently working with an engineering construction company providing water treatment works. Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for an experienced Civils Operative \ Groundworker for a long term contract role. The Job: Works will be undertaken on a water treatment site. * Carry out groundworks including excavation, ducting, and drainage installation. * Lay and backfill pipework for water and wastewater systems. * Install concrete foundations, slabs, and chambers to specification. * Assist with formwork, shuttering, and reinforcement for structures. * Support installation of tanks, kiosks, and mechanical equipment bases. * Operate small plant and tools (e.g., whacker plates, breakers, saws) safely. * Work in line with site RAMS, permits, and environmental controls. * Maintain a clean, safe working area and follow site health and safety procedures. * Assist trades and machine operators as required. * Report hazards, near misses, and defects promptly to the site supervisor. Candidate Requirements: * Full UK Driver’s Licence * Able to work to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship * Good communication and customer service skills
