We're currently looking for a Sourcing Lead on a full‑time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Procurement team based in Glasgow. We can offer both hybrid and remote working options.
The job
Reporting to the Head of Financial Shared Services, on a day‑to‑day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
 * Lead, embed and continuously improve ACCA's sourcing capability through development of best practice sourcing policies, frameworks and procurement centre of excellence ensuring we are driving value, innovation, and improvement from our sourcing activities (c£120m annually)
 * Proactively engage and lead directorate(s) in their associated critical and strategic sourcing needs using your detailed knowledge and understanding of strategy, priorities, and existing contractual estate/supplier base
 * Through strong customer and stakeholder engagement coupled with intimate knowledge of supplier contracts, lead, develop and implement the annual Procurement Plan for directorate(s)
 * For all critical and strategic sourcing activities, lead the investigation of markets, identification of suppliers, development of sourcing strategies, and negotiation of contracts securing and embedding value across the life of the contract
 * Lead all critical and strategic sourcing activity ensuring all our procurement principles are met, securing value for money, managing exposure to risk, acting with integrity and accountability and optimising value, innovation and continuous improvement
 * This is a key role in delivering service excellence, commercial value and thought leadership within the procurement function.
The person
We're looking for someone who:
 * MCIPS is desirable
 * Able to demonstrate experience of working within a senior sourcing role with a significant amount of autonomy in a large/multinational organisation
 * Experience of leading strategic and business‑critical supplier relationships and contracts to deliver sustainable improvements
 * Has gravitas to build strong relationships, and the confidence to challenge Senior Management
 * Can confidently articulate and recommend informed decisions both within Finance and to Senior Management across the organisation
 * Can think and deliver strategically with the ability to blend technical, operational, and commercial considerations to achieve best outcomes
 * Can work comfortably in a fast‑paced, fast‑changing, and high‑pressure environment
 * Strong numeracy and analytical skills to actively interrogate and present data in a meaningful format; excellent Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
 * Strong work ethic for this role, which is positioned at a senior level.
