Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to KS3-KS4
* Plan engaging, practical sessions that support curriculum aims
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene in the kitchen
* Support extracurricular activities related to food and DT
* Collaborate with the wider DT team to enhance learning
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Promote positive behaviour and a growth mindset in all pupils
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree or specialism in Food Technology or related subject
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
* Strong knowledge of health and safety in a food prep environment
* Enthusiasm for practical teaching and hands-on learning
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A team player who is open to new ideas and collaboration
