We are seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Officer to join our successful Marketing team on a three-month fixed-term basis, providing sabbatical cover for the Head of Marketing. The role focuses on maintaining momentum across existing marketing activity, ensuring consistent, high-quality output across digital platforms, and supporting key events, alumni engagement, and media relations. The postholder will not be expected to lead on strategy or major campaigns but will play a vital role in ensuring communications remain clear, engaging, and aligned with the schools ethos and values. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy, community-focused education environment. Key Responsibilities Digital & Social Media Website & Content Events, Alumni & Publications Media & PR Design & Creative Support. Administrative Support Desired Criteria Project management and/or event management experience. Previous experience in marketing, communications, or sales role. Experience working within a school or education environment. Essential Criteria Strong written communication skills, with particular strength in creative and persuasive writing. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Confident IT and digital skills, particularly in content creation and online communication. Experience of working to tight timeframes and deadlines.
