Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – Central London

Up to £37,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

If you’re currently working in Field Sales or have the talent to match your ambition to thrive in the biggest and best Food Service sales force, and are passionate about forging a career in sales, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

Key Accountabilities

* Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
* Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
* Partner with your customers to understand their growth plans, adding value, and offering a wide range of practical solutions and products.
* Understand competitor activity and proposals, ensuring you always offer your customers the best local solutions.
* Work proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a successful handover.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing the best solutions to support and enhance their business. Be tenacious and resilient, a self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed, and have demonstrable experience of delivering against targets. You should also be self-motivated to develop yourself continuously, seeking improvement by leveraging diverse skills and experience, and participating in L&D programs. There are opportunities to progress into various commercial roles to develop your career.

Confidence with our modernisation programme and new technology is essential, especially with tools like Salesforce (experience not essential but advantageous).
