Major Recruitment is looking to hire Powder Coaters / Spray Painters to join our client, a leading fabrication company based in Nottingham! Key Responsibilities: Apply powder coating materials to various metal parts using spray equipment or other methods as required. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure proper adhesion of powder coating materials. Handle and move parts into and out of wash and oven systems efficiently and safely. Mask off areas of parts that do not require coating, ensuring precise application and quality finishing. Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production. Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a positive working environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Willingness to undergo training for all tasks and processes related to powder coating and fabrication. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in powder coating preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to perform basic tasks with hands and use hand tools effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy parts as required. Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
