Job Description:
The Outpatient Department is often a patient's first experience of the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth. We aim to deliver first-class standards of care where the patient is at the heart of every decision. We have a dedicated team committed to our vision and values. The department features 25 consulting rooms equipped for various specialties, in spacious and comfortable surroundings. We support a range of clinics and have a minor procedure room for procedures under local anaesthetic.
The department provides both pre- and post-operative appointments, along with other medical and general specialties. Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London. All profits fund our onsite Hospice, St John’s.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain confidentiality regarding patient admission and treatment.
* Accurately complete documentation within agreed timescales, following hospital and NMC guidelines.
* Adhere to ward and hospital policies and professional standards.
* Provide excellent, evidence-based nursing care.
* Assess each patient, plan, implement, evaluate care, and document accordingly.
* Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, other departments, relatives, and visitors.
* Ensure quality care by meeting standards and informing seniors if standards are not met.
