Are you a creative digital communicator with a passion for supporting families and young people? We're looking for someone to join our Families Information Service, helping us connect with families of children aged 5-19 through engaging, accessible and impactful digital content. You'll play a key role in shaping how we communicate with families, young people and professionals digitally. Helping to manage our online presence, assisting with creating and delivering digital campaigns, to ensure that families can easily access the support and services they need, including through our Family Hub Networks.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver online content and creative digital campaigns to promote the services and support for families with children aged 5-19, including through the Family Hub Networks.
* Support and grow our social media channels, website content and digital newsletters.
* Working with families, children, young people and the professionals who support them to assist in co-producing content that reflects their voices and needs.
* Support the development of digital resources and toolkits for families and practitioners.
* Ensure all content is inclusive, accessible and aligned with our brand and values.
* Attend relevant activities and events across the County to promote the Families Information Service and Family Hubs Network.
About You
* A confident communicator with experience in digital marketing, social media management or content creation.
* Skilled in using digital tools for content management such as databases and content management systems for managing online content, and Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or video editing software for creating social media promotions.
* Passionate about supporting children, young people, and families.
* Able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including young people and community partners.
* Organised, creative, and proactive, with a keen eye for detail.
* Able to work from the office at Sherwood Energy Village at least one day a week and be able to travel to meetings and events across the county.
Desirable
* Experience working in or with children's services, education or the voluntary sector.
* Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in engaging families with older children and teenagers.
