Job Title: Scrum Master

Location – London and Glasgow

About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Banking and Finance domain who will overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

1. Lead Agile squads through Scrum ceremonies standups refinement planning demos retrospectives with disciplined execution
2. Drive predictable sprint delivery ensuring clear sprint goals prioritised backlogs capacity planning and high team velocity
3. Maintain and track delivery metrics burndown cycle time throughput flow efficiency and identify improvement opportunities
o Customer data ingestion pipelines
o Master reference data layers
o Data quality data profiling and validation services
o Data APIs and customer identity resolution features
o Data lineage governance metadata and cataloguing e.g. Collibra Atlas
4. Ensure alignment with data architecture information security and regulatory obligations GDPR CDE BCBS239
5. Work with Technical Leads and Architects to ensure definition of done DoD nonfunctional requirements
6. NFRs and acceptance criteria are consistently met
7. Stakeholder Management Communication
8. Collaborate closely with Product Owners Programme Managers Data Architects Engineers and Business
9. SMEs across multiple streams
10. Clearly communicate sprint progress impediments capacity constraints and risks to senior stakeholders
11. Facilitate alignment across squads and shared components platform data governance cloud engineering DevOps
12. Continuous Improvement Team Development
13. Embed Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum Kanban and scaled Agile ways of working
14. Identify inefficiencies and help teams adopt better working patterns around data modelling ETL development automated testing and CICD pipelines
15. Mentor teams to become self-organizing and reinforce Agile principles such as transparency inspection adaptation and value delivery
16. Risk Controls Compliance
17. Ensure delivery processes adhere to Barclays controls framework change management and audit expectations
18. Support teams in maintaining artefacts for model data governance compliance reviews and operational readiness
19. Proactively manage risks RAID logs dependencies and technical blockers
