We now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused Maintenance Technician (Plumbing) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified plumber who enjoys working independently, delivering high-quality maintenance, and making a real difference to NHS environments.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician (Plumbing), you will play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a varied estate. Covering a wide geographical area including Wiltshire, Bath and Salisbury, you’ll ensure plumbing systems are maintained to a safe and compliant standard while supporting the wider team with general maintenance tasks where required.
This is a mobile role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across multiple sites, responding to issues, carrying out repairs, and helping ensure healthcare environments remain fully operational for patients and staff.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Who You Are
You are a qualified and experienced plumber who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You’re proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently across a large patch, managing your own workload while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs across multiple sites
2. Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
3. Support with general building maintenance tasks where require
4. Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and compliance standards
5. Manage your own workload efficiently across a wide geographical area
6. Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders on site
7. Can handle routine tasks and social interactions within a work environment. Ability to absorb policy and guidance necessary for the role.
What You’ll Bring
8. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (essential)
9. Proven experience in plumbing maintenance
10. Basic multi-skilled / DIY skills
11. Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
12. Full UK driving licence
Where You’ll Be
This is a mobile role based out of Swindon, covering a regional patch across Wiltshire, Bath and Salisbury.
