As our new SHEQ Coordinator at the Stublach Site, you’ll play a crucial role in championing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, directly contributing to our mission of responsible energy management.
Summary of what you will do
* Monitor and administer SHEQ reporting systems, ensuring high standards across Storengy UK
* Facilitate SHEQ event investigations, root cause analysis, and improvement actions
* Develop and issue SHEQ communications across the business
* Support the UK SHEQ Manager with Internal Management System (IMS) application
* Contribute to safety initiatives, promoting ‘One Safety’ and ‘Safety Essentials’ programmes
* Compile and monitor SHEQ statistics for group reporting
* Oversee supplier and sub-contractor prequalification evaluations for SHEQ
What you will bring to the role
* 3+ years of experience in a lead SHEQ functional role (COMAH Site experience preferred)
* NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety (or working towards) or equivalent SHE qualification
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK SHE legislation, standards, and practices
* Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis methodologies
* Strong ability to apply safety rules and procedures
* Excellent communication skills for training development and delivery
* Internal Auditor Qualification with experience in system‑level audits
* Knowledge of ISO Management standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and implementation experience
