Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be designing and developing mechanical engineering aspects of complex machinery to a project specification and in line with project schedules, technical regulations and business objectives.
Job Overview
1. Confer with engineers, customers and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
2. Design, implement, maintain and improve process equipment, components, products and systems.
3. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
4. Direct and co-ordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with all mechanical aspects of specifications, codes and customer requirements.
5. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish process compliance relating to site installations, industry standards and specifications.
