Role Overview
They’re seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. This role is open from junior through to near-senior level, offering development opportunities and progression. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services projects, supporting tenders from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse drawings, specs, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates
*
Carry out material take-offs and liaise with suppliers/subcontractors
*
Compile and present estimates, risk assessments, and value engineering options
*
Support pre-construction and commercial teams with tenders and variations
*
Visit sites as required to assess scope and constraints
*
Contribute to improving estimating processes and cost libraries
About You
*
Background in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services (qualification or experience)
*
Ability to read mechanical services drawings and specs
*
Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and Excel proficiency
*
Organised, with good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
*
For senior-level: 4+ years in MEP estimating, proven tendering success, and mentoring ability
