Key responsibilities of the Bar Supervisor will include:
* Support and lead the bar team to ensure high standards of service and a seamless guest experience across all bar areas.
* Maintain a strong floor presence, acting as the first point of contact for guest queries and ensuring prompt resolution of concerns.
* Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth service delivery, quality control, and adherence to operational procedures and standards.
* Assist in monitoring guest feedback, proactively address concerns, and implement strategies to maintain consistent quality and satisfaction.
* Manage stock levels, including ordering and controlling consumables to meet business demands.
* Foster a positive and professional work environment, leading by example and motivating the team.
* Assist in the training and development of bar staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
* Support recruitment and retention efforts, helping to build a skilled and motivated team.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations, conducting regular checks and risk assessments as needed.
The Ideal Bar Supervisor:
* Experience within a high-quality bar or dining environment, ideally in a 5-star hotel or luxury setting.
* Cocktail knowledge, with a strong passion for delivering exceptional drink experiences.
* Excellent customer service skills, with a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and guests.
* An understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, to assist seniors in maintaining compliance
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* A positive, professional attitude, with the ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
