SEND Teaching Assistant – Darwen Location: Darwen Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Length of Role: Temp to Perm Pay Rate: £14.30 – £16.00 per hour A friendly and inclusive primary school in Darwen is looking to appoint a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing mainstream setting. The school’s SEND class provides structured, personalised support for pupils with a variety of needs, including ASC, Speech and Language challenges and SEMH. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence and develop essential social and emotional skills. Whether your experience comes from schools, youth work, care, residential settings or community support, your understanding of SEND and your ability to build positive relationships will be highly valued.
