Meraki Talent is working with a leading membership organisation looking for a skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. This is pivotal role shaping and delivering their digital marketing strategy across multiple channels, with a strong focus on website management, performance optimisation, and member engagement.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and collaborate across teams to ensure all digital activity aligns with organisational objectives and delivers measurable impact.
You will also line manage two team members, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality delivery across all digital outputs.
Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with team objectives and budget
* Oversee and optimise multi-channel digital content (including email, social media, and web)
* Lead the management and continuous improvement of the organisation’s website, ensuring an excellent user experience
* Take ownership of the CMS (ideally Umbraco), including content governance, updates, and optimisation
* Support content creation across formats including social media, video, and podcasts
* Drive SEO strategy and implementation to improve visibility and traffic
* Conduct regular website reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement through data and user feedback
* Manage and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for website developments and enhancements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver digital projects and campaigns
* Work closely with the Campaigns Manager to align digital activity with broader marketing initiatives
* Monitor, analyse, and report on performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI
* Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in a digital marketing role within a membership organisation, charity, or trade body is essential
* Strong understanding of multi-channel digital marketing and website management
* Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco highly desirable)
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital strategies within budget constraints
* Line management experience is essential
* Must have previously worked with external, third parties agencies
* Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimisation techniques
