An opportunity ideally for an experienced ambitious underwriter who is keen to add value, working within a growing marine cargo division. This role offers an opportunity to be involved as part of a start-up scenario discussing strategic capacity, continuing to build the book, developing longevity with brokers and the wider management team.
There is an opportunity to write a board spread of international cargo business, for goods-in-transit, stock-throughput and storage. Broad appetite including oil and gas, manufactured goods, metals and minerals. Marine liability business will also be incorporated in the future, so this experience would be beneficial.
The role will involve sitting at the box, representing the business in person and some travel in the future.
