An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team. Currently looking for HGV Mechanic to uptake repairs of fleet of various lorries, skip loaders, hook loaders, artics, trailers and refuse vehicles.
Full time – 6:30am – 4.30pm from Mon to Fri. Overtime available during the week and also on Saturday, therefore flexibility is desirable.
Salary in region of £15 - £20 per hour based on experience, we will discuss this further during the interview.
Company van provided.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Carrying out repairs and other maintenance on vehicles and machines;
· Liaising and reporting to workshop manager and transport manager;
· General maintenance across the site;
· Complete defects on R2C;
· Liaising with suppliers, sourcing parts and comparing prices;
Requirements:
· Previous experience in working within this sector is desirable
· Ability to work as a part of a team
· Punctual
· Reliable
· Flexible
· Have full UK Driving License (Class I and II desirable, but not essential);
· Good level of English
· Attention to detail

Essential:
· Keen to learn new skills and willing to attend training;
· Proven mechanical experience and relevant skills – e.g. NVQs;
· High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental;
