We are currently working with an FE College who are looking for a Dyslexia Coordinator and EAA
Job Title: Dyslexia Coordinator & EAA Assessor
Location: Coventry
Contract Type: Full-Time
Hours per Week: 37 per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Starting: ASAP
Salary: Hourly or daily rate
About the Role
To oversee the Dyslexia provision at the College, ensuring high quality support for learners throughout their learner journey. To run the Exams Access Arrangements (EAA) process for learners with additional needs at the College. To carry out initial assessments of learners -to establish their starting points and plan support that matches learner aspirations and learning goals/ outcomes. To track, monitor and review learners to ensure that their support needs are met, including their EAAs.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
1. Educated to degree level
2. A current Assessment Practising Certificate
3. Experience of completing EAAs for learners with additional needs
4. Experience of working/teaching within a Post 16 setting
