GSL Education are pleased to recruit an experienced Design Technology Teacher for schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ technical knowledge, design skills, and problem-solving ability within a safe workshop environment. Key Duties: Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach practical skills, product design, and material understanding. Monitor and assess pupil progress. Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning space. Support departmental projects and enrichment activities. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management and practical teaching skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
