Job Overview
* To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI) and subsequent changes.
* Delivering results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in contract retention.
* Undertake provided additional training to promote continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Be aware of compliance aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
* Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published AI.
* Review and familiarize oneself with the AI to suggest amendments that improve service.
* Obtain and wear a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision at all times during duties; additional courses may be required.
* Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately.
* Work systematically, methodically, and in an orderly way.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager for self-development.
* Use technology to achieve work goals and develop knowledge through continual professional development.
* Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report any hazards or potential hazards on site immediately.
* Stay alert to threats or changes to reduce disruption, loss, or damage.
* Involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
* Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
* Complete detailed incident reports promptly.
* Adhere to schedules and obligations to Mitie and the Client.
* Ensure check calls are carried out as stipulated in the AI.
* Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
What we are looking for
* Previous Security Experience (Desirable)
* Frontline SIA License (Essential)
* SC Clearance (Desirable)
