Senior Night Care Worker - Full and Part Time hours available
As a Senior Care Worker on night shift, you will provide leadership and hands‑on support that protects residents’ wellbeing and dignity throughout the night. You will be someone residents trust and colleagues can rely on.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the night team to ensure high standards of compassionate care.
* Oversee medication processes including safe administration and auditing.
* Act as a key worker and keep accurate, person‑centred care plans up to date.
* Maintain the security and safety of the building during quiet hours.
* Provide management cover when the Service Manager or Deputy are not on shift.
* Create a calm and supportive atmosphere that feels like home.
About You
You are kind, confident and able to stay calm under pressure. You understand the importance of treating every individual with dignity, especially during the night when reassurance and comfort mean the most.
* Hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and be able and willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award.
* Have experience supervising staff and contributing to care planning, along with basic IT skills.
