Responsibilities of a Social Worker within the Intake and Assessment Team:
12. Around 20 -22 caseload (less depending on the complexity of the cases)
13. The team completes a range of assessments, conducts section 487 enquiries and establishes whether longer term plans are required for families
14. Involved in issuing court proceedings where needed
15. The team is fast paced where no day is the same
16. Able to offer empathetic support to families who have just been referred to the service, families in these circumstances are often in crisis
Requirements:
17. Social Work Qualification
18. 1+ years experience
19. Newly Qualified Social Workers currently working through their ASYE are welcome to apply
20. Social Work Wales registration or eligible to apply
21. A passion for achieving the best outcomes for children through direct work
22. A creative and innovative approach
