Planning Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Hybrid Working
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a planning and environment solicitor to join the team at the Southampton office of this leading Legal 100 firm.
We are working with a leading national law firm seeking an experienced Planning Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its respected Planning and Real Estate team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong planning and development experience to work with a diverse, high-quality client base, including major residential and mixed-use developers, retailers, investors, funders, local authorities and government bodies.
The Role:
* Advising on all aspects of planning law and development matters
* Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
* Managing planning due diligence for real estate and corporate deals
* Advising on EIA, CIL, GLA planning, Village Greens and Assets of Community Value
* Supporting clients with appeals, judicial reviews, enforcement and highways issues
The Candidate:
* Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in planning law
* Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and development processes
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Keen to get involved in business development and grow within a supportive national team
