What You’ll be doing
1. Manage and develop the nightshift teamthrough ongoing coaching and feedback to deliver outstanding results
2. Implement and embed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site and centrally driven processes
3. Accountable for overseeing van resource allocation, stock inventory, and maintenanceto ensure efficient operations
4. Respond to customer demands and volume changesby flexing overnight operational resources to meet targets
5. Ensure compliance with legal and safety frameworkswhile being accountable for managing recruitment and headcount requirements

6. Leadership experience in managing a team of managers and team members within a unionised environment
7. Proven track record in handling multi-drop delivery and customer final mile delivery operations.
8. Experienced in delivering on KPI performances to meet budgetary requirements and achieve an optimum cost to serve
9. Possesses management skills that engage and motivate colleagues at all levels
10. Capable of responding to customer demands and fluctuations at pace, ensuring the efficient delivery of a first-class service
