Location: Manchester
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

As the Health, Safety and Environmental Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining health, safety, and sustainability standards across multiple production sites. You will champion a culture of accountability, implement proactive risk mitigation strategies, and drive environmental responsibility in line with corporate objectives.
Key Areas of Focus
Workplace Safety
* Champion a culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation's NI operations.
* Lead initiatives that promote proactive safety behaviours and practices.
* Deliver safety education programmes and hands-on training to ensure workforce awareness.
* Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance, review protocols, and report non-conformance.
* Investigate safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Environmental Stewardship
* Spearhead environmental responsibility programmes aligned with legislation and sustainability goals.
* Maintain legal compliance across all environmental activities to reduce organisational risk.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to promote eco-conscious production and waste management.
* Manage emissions tracking and lead greenhouse gas reporting and analysis.
* Embed environmental awareness into operational decisions and planning.
What You'll Need
* Proven experience in a Health, Safety, or Environmental leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial settings.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Passion for continuous improvement and fostering a safety-first culture.
