Role Overview
Join us as an IFC Data & Records Governance Lead at Barclays to develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank’s global operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Monitor data quality and records metrics and ensure compliance with standards across the organization.
* Identify and address data and records management risks and gaps.
* Design and implement a records management programme ensuring proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
* Develop and implement a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank’s overall data management strategy and business objectives.
* Provide group‑wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
Qualifications
* Risk and Control Experience.
* Data Governance experience.
* Stakeholder Management skills.
* Experience with BCBS 239 (highly valued).
* Project Management experience (highly valued).
* Key critical skills including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology expertise, and job‑specific technical skills.
