Customer Team Leader
Location: 11 Littlestone Road, New Romney, TN28 8LN
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week plus regular overtime, permanent, part‑time
Working pattern: mix of opening, closing and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week. Includes at least two evening shifts (Friday after 6 pm) and one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday).
You must be aged 18 + to authorise age‑related sales.
Job Overview
As a Customer Team Leader you will lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on the store you may work in our post office, bakery or support online services and our home delivery drivers.
What you will do
* Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
* Motivate, coach and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
* Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
* Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes
* Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth
What you will bring
