We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join our team within Vistry Central Home Counties, at our Takeley office in Essex. As our Assistant Technical Coordinator, you will be part of the Technical Team tasked with taking new build housing projects through from inception to completion. The role will cover all areas involved in the preparation of design information, including the management of consultants, management of design input from other external parties, as well as liaison with local authorities, other Vistry departments including the site teams.

o You will hold or be working toward a Construction/Design related professional qualification
o HNC/HND/Degree
o Proficient use of AutoCAD/REVIT

o Assist in managing external consultants in the preparation and issue of working drawings to an agreed programme, fee and scope.
o Attend meetings at various stages of projects including design team and site progress meetings.
o Support Vistry’s Engineering Manager, Technical Manager & Technical Coordinators.
o Assist in overseeing site investigation and civil/structural design work carried out by external consultants.
o Respond to site queries and resolve Technical/Construction problems.
o Review and issue drawings and the associated project coordination.
o To assist in implementing departmental objectives and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
