Start Date: End of November 2025
Role: Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover)
Contract Type: SOLT/Equity Agreement
Weekly Fee: A buy-out which equates to Equity minimum plus pay for additional hours
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Company Manager & Stage Manager.
* Oversee all aspects of the physical production of CABARET in performance, rehearsal and ongoing maintenance and repair.
* Manage movement of props, furniture and actors on and off the stage to ensure a smooth running of performances.
* Work as part of a team with clear communication and a positive attitude.
* As this position is a book cover, show calling experience is essential.
* Contribute to the prologue performance that takes place ahead of the scripted performance, including audience management alongside the FOH team and movement of props and cast welfare with the Company and Stage Manager.
* liaise with all departments on stage (cast, lighting, sound, automation, wardrobe & WHAM) and support the creative team to realise the artistic vision.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as an ASM.
* Some experience of Book Cover is ESSENTIAL.
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
