Location: Scotland (Remote/Occasional Travel)

About Beyond Boundaries:
Beyond Boundaries is a Scottish Charity which funds programmes that use cricket, in any of its forms, to transform the lives of young, disadvantaged and underrepresented people in Scotland. Our particular focuses to date have been supporting:
* Women and girls cricket;
* Children from disadvantaged areas; and
* People with disabilities.

As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking passionate and committed Volunteer Trustees to join our board. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about cricket, community engagement, and making a difference to contribute at a strategic level.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Trustee of Beyond Boundaries, you will have the opportunity to help guide the strategic direction and growth of the charity. Your responsibilities will include:
* Strategic Leadership: Provide advice and oversight on the charity’s strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our missions and vision to make cricket accessible for all.
* Governance and Compliance: Ensure that Beyond Boundaries is meeting legal and regulatory requirements, and that good governance practices are upheld.
* Financial Oversight: Work with the Treasurer and other Trustees to ensure the charity’s financial stability, assist with fundraising, and help manage resources efficiently.
* Support and Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for Beyond Boundaries, helping to raise awareness, build partnerships, and advocate for the importance of cricket in community development.
* Regular Board Meetings: Attend board meetings (approximately 4-6 times a year), where you will discuss key decisions and provide guidance on our ongoing programs and initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and who can bring a variety of skills and perspectives to our board. Ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:
* Passion for Cricket and Community Development: An enthusiasm for cricket and its power to bring people together, particularly in underserved communities.
* Experience in Governance: Experience in a governance role or a strong understanding of charity governance and strategic decision-making.
* Skills and Expertise: A background in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
* Fundraising and Sponsorship
* Finance and Accounting
* Marketing and Communications
* Law or Charity Management
* Community Engagement
* Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: A commitment to supporting diversity, equality, and inclusion, ensuring that the charity’s activities are accessible to all.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other Trustees, staff, and stakeholders.
