Job Description
* Prepare and process financial transactions, including invoices and payments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
* Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
* Provide support during audits as required.
* Collaborate with the wider team to improve financial processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
* A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
* Proficiency in accounting software and strong numerical skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
What's on Offer
* Hourly pay of approximately £20.90 to £24.10, depending on experience. (including holiday pay)
* A full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, based in the office.
