Quantity Surveyor - Tier 1 Main Contractor

Our client, a well-established international main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a significant £30m refurbishment scheme in Cardiff.
The project is part of a wider regeneration development scheme and is being delivered on behalf of a respected housing association.

The Role
You will be responsible for the financial delivery of the project, from procurement to final account. Reporting to a Senior QS or Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the project team and client to manage cost control, valuations, and variations, while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project
* Prepare interim valuations and agree on final accounts
* Monitor cost control and forecasting
* Procure and manage subcontract packages
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and profitable delivery
Requirements
* Experience with a main contractor on residential or commercial projects, or with a reputable facades/cladding specialist contractor
* Strong knowledge of post-contract commercial management
* Ability to produce accurate cost reports and forecasts
* Capability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail
