Your new role

As HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a strategic advisor and operational expert within a designated directorate. Reporting to a Senior HR Manager, you’ll provide high-quality guidance on all HR matters including employee relations, recruitment, absence management, performance, and workforce planning. You’ll lead one of the core HR functions—Recruitment, Absence, or Employee Relations—on a rotational basis and work closely with managers, trade unions, and other stakeholders to deliver effective people management solutions. You’ll also contribute to policy development, HR metrics analysis, and organisational change initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

1. A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent), and either working towards or already holding a CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR Management.

2. At least 3 years’ experience in HR, including policy implementation, employee relations, resourcing, and strategic stakeholder engagement.

3. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.

4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and negotiate effectively.

5. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects on time, and produce high-quality reports.

6. A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to work.

7. Access to transport to meet the requirements of the role.
