Job Overview
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation. As a Senior RME Technician, you'll help us stay ahead by adopting the latest technologies, identifying efficient workflows, and maintaining high standards through process improvements and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure equipment is used safely and monitor team adherence to processes.
2. Track equipment performance through visual checks, condition monitoring, and preventative maintenance; schedule additional servicing as needed.
3. Supervise technicians on shift, support their development, and act as the first contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
4. Resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
5. Contribute to system improvements and standardize processes across the EU network.
A Day in the Life
You will lead a team during your shift, ensuring equipment readiness, monitoring processes, and implementing improvements across the EU. Utilize tools like SCADA, coordinate with your line manager for administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role involves shift work, including weekends and nights, with opportunities for career progression.

The RME team maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment in Amazon's fulfillment centers worldwide. Basic Qualifications
* Full Engineering Apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 or higher in a relevant Engineering field.
* Experience in a technical leadership role.
* Experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
* Experience with automation or material handling equipment.
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working across multiple sites and contractors.
* Knowledge of PLC control systems and compliance standards.
* Experience with computerised maintenance management systems.
* Degree in a technical or operational discipline is preferred.
