Site Security Officer
Permanent | Location: Colnbrook | Hours: Full Time (42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shift pattern | 06:00 – 18:00 / 18:00 – 06:00) | Pay: £14.21 per hour
Join us as a Site Security Officer at our Colnbrook site. You will play an active role in securing our clients' property and will be part of the team responsible for protecting, escalating, and responding to security incidents. This role involves regular interaction with contractors and visitors requiring site access. You will manage asset protection and site access/egress while upholding high standards of security, customer service, and health & safety.
Responsibilities
* Proactively control and monitor access into a specific site.
* Make on-the-spot dynamic risk assessments to protect client premises and assets.
* Ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property; undertake regular patrols and inspections.
* Apply conflict resolution skills in pressured environments; assist staff, contractors, and visitors on site.
* Compliance management to ensure Health & Safety policies and client standards are followed.
* Ensure that no unauthorized persons are permitted in restricted areas.
* Direct emergency vehicles and other traffic in the event of a major incident.
* Accurately report all incidents according to standard operating procedures.
* Utilise security technology (check call systems, key access systems, mobile apps, patrol timekeeping, vehicle sat-nav/tracking).
* Maintain effective communication with the Supervisor; raise and address issues promptly.
* Information gathering to provide real-time data supporting duties and responsibilities.
* Write complete and accurate incident and handover reports; take appropriate action on reports at the start or during each shift.
* Work in pairs and provide regular updates to the supervisor as required.
* Ensure SIA/DS Licence is displayed at all times while at work.
* Perform any additional reasonable duties as requested by management.

* Ability to pass vetting requirements (5-year address and employment history check)
