We have an exciting new development opportunity within the Eastbourne Family Help Pilot. We are looking to fill a full-time senior keywork vacancy within Family Help Team 2 via a secondment.

The position will be based at St Mary’s House, and you will work with the Practice Manager of Family Help 2 holding a case load of both Level 3 and CiN cases plus supporting the Practice Manager on the team’s duty week.

Part of the duty role will be to screen all referrals coming in that week, gather additional information if needed, and decide on the next steps for each referral.

As a Senior Early Help Keyworker, your responsibilities include holding a caseload of Level 3 Keywork cases and Level 4 Child in Need cases, supporting the Practice Manager during the team’s duty rotation by ensuring cases are assessed and robust allocation decisions are made, and providing mentoring and ad hoc support to keyworkers. You also contribute to practice development sessions, maintain specialist skills, and share knowledge in key areas of practice.

The people we are looking for in this vital position will have:

* QCF Level 2 in English and Maths or ability to pass assessment at interview.
* QCF level 4 professional qualification working with children, young people or families.
* Mentoring and coaching skills.
