With strong pipelines and ambitious growth plans, our client is driving innovation across the infrastructure sector—supporting major capital programs in water, transport, energy, utilities, and power transmission & distribution. We’re looking for an experienced, commercially savvy consultant ready to take a strategic leadership role within a rapidly evolving business. This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of high-profile infrastructure advisory projects while mentoring a growing internal team. The Role As a Principal Consultant, you will: Lead client engagements to deliver advisory and project delivery solutions aligned with best practice and client goals. Translate complex infrastructure challenges into actionable project scopes, outcomes, and strategies. Coordinate internal delivery teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality project execution. Oversee project performance, commercial outcomes, and risk management across multiple accounts. Develop proposals, scopes of work, and commercial quotations with support from directors and operations. Act as a senior point of contact to clients and stakeholders across water, energy, rail, and other regulated sectors. Contribute to internal capability development through coaching, mentoring, and improving delivery frameworks. What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience: 7 years of infrastructure experience. Proven track record of delivering multi-disciplinary or advisory projects. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, programme planning, governance, and strategic risk management. Degree-qualified in engineering, business, project management or equivalent. Strong financial and commercial acumen (P&L awareness, margin focus, pricing). Familiarity with CRM and productivity tools (e.g. MS Project, Power BI, Excel). APM or equivalent project management accreditation preferred. Key Attributes Natural relationship builder and confident communicator. Hands-on, delivery-focused with excellent organisational skills. Commercially astute and able to translate client needs into delivery plans. Comfortable working in a fast-paced consultancy environment. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Passionate about infrastructure and delivering positive societal outcomes.
