We’re looking for a highly motivated Junior Legal Counsel - Turkish Speaker to join our team!
Responsibilities:
* Draft, negotiate, and finalize Commercial and Financial Agreements, including: Non-Disclosure Agreements, Merchant Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Novation Agreements, licensing agreements, payment services agreements, Credit Agreements, Loan Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, SaaS Agreements, and Addendums.
* Assist the team with M&A projects, including drafting relevant legal documents and conducting legal research.
* Assist clients with license applications in various jurisdictions.
* Oversee legal compliance for various entities and subsidiaries.
* Correspond with other departments of our clients and external lawyers.
* Provide daily legal advice to clients.
* Minimum 5 years of experience working for a leading law firm or within the finance sector, with solid experience in the above matters.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* High level of organizational skills.
* Completion of LPC is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in a leading law firm or financial sector company, with expertise in drafting and negotiating financial agreements.
* Strong knowledge of M&A transactions, license applications, legal compliance, and daily legal operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent organizational abilities.
* A legal qualification is required; LPC completion is preferred but not mandatory.
* Fluency in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
